Welcome to Eastern Goldfields College – a Western Australian senior college located in the capital of the Goldfields. We encourage our students to achieve to their potential following their chosen pathways for either post school education or employment.

The Eastern Goldfields name has long been associated with secondary education in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and surrounds and brings with it a great deal of tradition. In 2014 we celebrated the centenary of Eastern Goldfields. While we draw on the lessons of the past, we look forward to future challenges and achievements.

Kevin O'Keefe has dedicated his adult life to education. It all began when he entered the classroom as a teacher at Margaret River Senior High School 53 years ago. He has been a deputy principal, principal, executive director and principal consultant advising the Department's executive. His journey includes a period when he lead a multi campus remote community school in the Western Desert as Executive Principal of the Ngaanyatjarra Lands School. Kevin is a Noongar person with roots in Yued country. He joined the Corporate Executive in 2019 to provide advice and guidance drawn from his extensive experience in Aboriginal education in school and system contexts.Over the years, Kevin has worked with staff at Eastern Goldfields College and we have appreciated his wisdom and knowledge.
