Principal’s Welcome

At Eastern Goldfields College, we are committed to empowering students to have a choice in their future. This moral purpose guides every decision we make as a school community.

We believe education unlocks potential in individuals, groups, and communities. We provide students with the tools and opportunities to make the best choices for their future. Through incorporating student voice, academic programs, industry and community engagement and targeted support, we help students discover their passions and achieve their goals.

Co-located with TAFE, Curtin University, and the Central Business District, we leverage our position to engage with the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community. This engagement empowers students to develop as young adults. We strive to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment, fostering responsibility, respect, and achievement.

Our commitment extends beyond the classroom. We emphasize community involvement and social responsibility, preparing students to be active, informed, and compassionate members of society.

I invite families and the community to join us in embracing these values and supporting our students in their pursuit of excellence. Your involvement is crucial to our success, and I look forward to working with you to create a vibrant school community.

Thank you for your continued support and trust in Eastern Goldfields College. Together, we can empower our students to make informed choices and build a brighter future.
