Employment Preparation Program

The Employment Preparation Pathway offers individualised timetables and pathway plans to suit your employment interests. Our flexible and specialised delivery of the program means we can help you identify the career you want, the education you need to get there and prepare you for an employers expectations. This is without the added pressure of trying to achieve your WACE certificate.

Can I do more?

If you have an interest in Dance, Information Technology, Photography, Art or other trade sub-jects we may be able to combine this with your Employment Preparation Pathway by accessing WACE courses from the General Studies Grid.

Some Nationally Recognised Certificate Qualifications or short courses may also become availa-ble through Community Registered Training Organisations which can be added to your pathway. These can involve pre-apprenticeship courses and will be offered to students as they become available throughout the year. Students will need to express interest in these courses as they are offered.

The Employment Preparation Pathway delivers 2 Nationally Accredited Certificates in addition to other accredited courses:

 The Certificate I in Gaining Access to Training and Employment

 The Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways

 Coaching Young People for Success (CYPFS) career planning program

 Keys for Life pre– driver training and safety

 MultiLit literacy tutoring
