Upon successful completion of this certificate, students could progress to the following certificates:
- Certificate III in Sport and Recreation
- Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation
- Certificate III in Fitness (not suitable for leavers under the age of 18)
- Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation
- Certificate III in Sport Coaching
